First, your words (and visual aids) need to convert targeted visitors to prospects who take mutually beneficial action such as a calling, emailing or completing an online form. Words and images must sufficiently “tell the story” and assist the visitor in determining whether they want what you provide and if so, whether they want it from you or a competitor. Unless the content you write converts targeted visitors to prospects, there is no benefit for your efforts attracting traffic to your site.

Developing contentThe second consideration when writing content for the web is “being found” by search engines. A site that offers everything targeted visitors want accomplishes nothing if those visitors never arrive.

The WSI/Better Web Results Writing Content for the Web workshop will help you

  • develop words (and images) to engage targeted visitors
  • assist visitors to take mutually beneficial action (call, email, form completion)
  • assist visitors to take mutually beneficial action (call, email, form completion)
  • optimize “story” pages without content appearing contrived
  • build effective “landing pages” for search engines, email marketing and social media

WSI/Better Web Results workshops are interactional, with participants determining the content and focus. We don't work on theoretical web pages. We work on your web pages!
